Trisha Williams: Bare Bliss Skin Care

Do you ever meet people who instantly put you at ease? For me, Trisha Williams is one of these people. She brings an energy to her business and a level of caring to her clients that is above and beyond what anyone expects. It is no surprise that in her previous career she was a councilor.

Trisha’s business was somewhat unplanned. She had studied to become an esthetician in high school, but the next several years took her in other directions. It isn’t until she moved back to the area to help care for her grandfather that things started to go in this direction. In the beginning, Trisha rented a room at her daughters lash spa (Cayla Smith of Wink, an amazing woman for another post), and she explored various areas of the business. She realized that waxing and skin care, such as dermaplaning and microdermabrasion were her loves! It wasn’t long before Trisha had her own salon her in Yakima.

Trisha loves the freedom and flexibility that comes from owning her own business. She loves to talk with people throughout the day and get to know them over time. Some of her services put clients in vulnerable states and she is great at talking through the discomfort and making her clients feel as comfortable as possible. Trisha is always attending new trainings to stay up on what is new in the industry, and it really shows in her work.

Trisha was a little nervous when she began chasing this dream. Would there really be enough business to support herself? What would it be like to have no one else to rely on? And of course, something I can relate to, will I mess up my taxes when running a small business.

Away from her business Trisha is getting to follow her dreams as a grandma as well. I must say I love to hear about the joy that her new granddaughter has brought her this year.

I feel blessed to have met Trisha and gotten to know her over the years! She has so many clients that truly see her as a friend and look forward to seeing her each month, even though she is going to be ripping hair off our body. If you need any waxing or skin care services stop by and give Trisha a try.
